This Summer Garden Party inspired wedding was the first wedding I’ve photographed at the MacArthur Place Hotel + Spa in Sonoma, California. This hotel + spa is the perfect venue for those who love Sonoma and want their guests to stay in the heart of the small town with accessibility to bikes and walking distance to shops and restaurants. It’s a stunning all around hotel and venue. The venue feels intimate and like you are getting married in a beautiful backyard.

This wedding was an emotional one and having the honor to witness these two Tumblr love birds finally get married, was the sweetest.

Our journey with Catherine started with our engagement shoot in San Francisco. This was the first time my husband and I did a professional photoshoot and her presence felt like having a close friend by our side, capturing all those special moments with a creative and artistic flair. Catherine's attention to detail was impeccable. She even texted me asking how planning was going, and helped me pick between two dresses for our engagement shoot, truly an angel! She provided us with a helpful welcome guide that made planning a breeze and ensured we were well-prepared. It was evident that she wanted everything to go smoothly and effortlessly for us.
One of the most incredible aspects of working with Catherine was her efficiency and dedication. Imagine our surprise when she sent us 60 stunning wedding day photos the very next day after our wedding! We were blown away by how quickly she turned around the full wedding gallery in less than a month. This level of promptness is truly admirable. Also need to add that another reason why Catherine is an absolute rockstar is her bilingual abilities! On the day of our wedding, she effortlessly switched to Spanish to communicate with some of our family members who didn't speak English. It made everyone feel included and comfortable, and we cannot thank her enough for that.
Now, let's talk about her photography skills. Catherine has a magical way of capturing emotions and moments that would have otherwise gone unnoticed. Every time we look at the photos, we are transported back to the best day of our lives. The way she immortalized our love and happiness in those pictures is beyond words. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had her by our side, capturing all the love and joy of our wedding day.
