Hola! I am Catherine!
I am a SoCal Wedding + Elopement Photographer based in Los Angeles, California. I grew up in South Florida (IYKYK that 561 + 305), lived in NC for 7 years, met the love of my life and then moved to the PNW. After living in Portland for 4 years, we finally decided LA felt more like home.
I am a first generation Colombian American. Which means I speak fluent English & Spanish. I am so blessed to be married to my best friend and get to live this sweet life with him. I love people, our dog Cardinal, traveling, making fun last minute weekend trips to the mountains or the beach and date nights that include a drink in hand!
My couples mean the world to me and almost always become our good friends. I can’t tell you how thankful I am to be getting to do this for a living AND meeting my favorite people we eventually do life with. I have been shooting weddings for over 10 years, but have had a camera in my hand since the 8th grade!
I am a huge sucker for love.
I know that sounds cheesy, but I promise you I am not lol. I just genuinely love love and I think it’s pretty incredible, that no matter how long it takes, you can always find your true love. Your best friend is really out there!
My favorite rom-com is Four Christmas’s + Crazy Rich Asians and 13 going on 30.
My music choice is a little all over the place, but generally I replay Drake, Lana del Rey, Bad Bunny, Ry X, 6LACK, Rufus de Sol, Le Youth, Kacey Mustgraves or anything reggaeton.

Catherine was truly a dream to work with for our Bay Area wedding. Her portfolio speaks for itself—we were immediately drawn to her timeless style and ability to capture emotion. She was the first photographer we reached out to, and after hearing how warm, kind, and committed to her art she was over the phone, we immediately knew that we wanted to work with her!
During both our engagement shoot and wedding day, we were able to relax and be present in the moment, knowing that Catherine was doing her thing behind the scenes to capture both beautiful posed photographs as well as fun, candid images. She has such an amazing artistic eye, and was able to capture so many special moments of emotion that I didn’t even notice on the day until we got our wedding album back. Some of her candid black and whites are so beautiful I honestly couldn’t believe they weren’t staged! She also captured a handful of film shots that are so sweet and special to us. Her style is truly so timeless and classic—both our younger friends and our older relatives have remarked on how beautiful her work is, which I think is a testament to her ability to nail a timeless style while also incorporating more modern, documentary shots depending on your vision.
On top of her artistic skill, I couldn’t imagine a better person to have with us during all the special moments of our wedding day. Catherine immediately felt like a friend we had known for ages and so clearly loves building relationships with her clients. She went above and beyond in the weeks leading up to the wedding to help with outfit styling and day-of scheduling, and was amazing at corralling family members and keeping us on schedule on our wedding day.
