Garden Inspired Wedding at Goat Hill Park Golf Club | San Diego, CALIFORNIA | Ash + Kevin
This post is about a beautiful, garden inspired golf club wedding at Goat Hill Park in Oceanside, California 40 minutes outside of San Diego. These two love golf, but never saw themselves actually getting married on a golf course. Life is so funny + sweet that way. A place where they have so many memories, ended up being where they wed. I met with Ash + Kevin the night before their big day, because at the time I wasn’t living in SoCal yet. I flew down for their wedding weekend and I felt like we had known each other for years. These two are absolutely precious. I love the way that Kevin looks at Ash and the way that Ash’s big smile lights up a whole room. They are both so calm, sweet and just so fun to be around. The way these two met, is also pretty amazingly hilarious.
Couple of years back Ash used to have a food blog, and she wrote a review for a product. Kevin happened to working for the product and his boss asked him to go try to do some damage control. He met up with her and the rest is history. I love how when you least expect to find love, to amazing people find each other. One of my favorite parts about what I get to do for a living, is to hear all the love stories from my couples. It makes my cheesy loving heart, so full.
Below you’ll see that I was quite obsessed with her dress from Dress Theory San Diego, by Alexandra Grecco. The ruffle sleeves were stunning and gave a classic dress, that extra fun touch. The florals were pretty and of course, Crowned Events planning + design, was perfection.
