Vancouver, WA Backyard Wedding
A beautiful Vancouver, WA backyard wedding! When we first met Allie & Garrett, they dreamed of having their wedding at The Orchard in Hood River. But then Covid happened and they decided to move their wedding to Garretts family property. I knew it was a big beautiful property, but I did not realize how even more amazing this wedding would be. I have to stay that Dorotheea with Kamea events outdid herself and made this wedding STUNNING. I think it came out more stunning, than their original plan. They had a beautiful clean slate and everything came together so so perfectly.
Allie looked absolutely incredible in her dress and we love that Garrett, although he said he wasn’t going to cry, ended up tearing up at the first look AND their ceremony! After the first look, there were moments of a little rain, but we were able to delay the ceremony (heck yeah for it being on family property) and then, they had the sweetest ceremony. Because of those PNW fall days, they planned in advanced to get a clear tent and we were so glad they did. I will say, after this wedding, I am a HUGE believer in a clear tent for an outdoor wedding. Not only does it help with weather, but the lights / greenery that you can hang make it dreamier. Also, it makes a night and day difference, for night photography when the sun sets. Overall, we would have to say this wedding was the most beautiful detailed wedding we had in 2020 and it’s all to the amazing team Allie & Garrett trusted!
