This night before session was shot at an iconic Los Angeles location with all the amazing views. Nothing says more LA than a scene of a car with all the beautiful tall palms. Haruna + Johnny had already done an engagement session when they first got engaged. I love that they chose to do a night before session with me, literally the night before their wedding. I think it’s such a fun way to show off your rehearsal dinner attire. Especially when you get gifted this sick car as an early wedding gift!

Haruna is also a talented aspiring fashion designer and even designed the dress she wore for this session! I love when couples incorporate something that is special to them or something they made, that makes their session unique to them.

Haruna and Johnny have such a fun + playful, yet sweet love. They met at work and even years later, I love how gentle Johnny is with her and how much they laugh together. I love when best friends marry each other. They also both grew up in the Los Angeles area, so this setting was perfect for their session.

Are you planning on having your engagement session in Los Angeles? Consider doing your session Monday through Thursday, that way you can avoid crowds and traffic. If you can’t do your session during the week, try doing it at sunrise! Sunrise and sunset are the best times to get stunning images.
